Coasteering
Coasteering is a mixture of swimming, cliff traversing and cliff jumping and is an ideal activity for adults, kids, groups of friends, families and corporate groups. Cliffs, rocks,plant life and curious sea creatures are only some of the features you will see whilst coasteering at Beadnell in Northumberland. Each route has its own characteristics and can last from 2-3 hours or a day depending on the package you choose.
We can adapt each session for every group to ensure the activity is correct for all ages and abilities.
The session will start with a safety brief that will cover all safety aspects before you head out with your experienced instructor.
All of our instructors are qualified SLSGB (Surf Life Saving GB) coasteering life guards.
We have spent time training with the best instructors down at Newqay with the British coasteering federation. Each session will be run with a minimum of 2 guides and a maximum group size of 12.
All our sessions will take place at Beadnell. Starting at the car park where there is toilet facilities and a great burger van.
We will work our way round to the point where we will finnish with some good cliff jumps.
Equipment
All our instructors carry full safety equipment in a dry bag including. mobile phone, first aid kit.Throw lines and tow lines are carried at all times by our guides.
Personal equipment (wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet) is provided and all instructors carry safety, rescue and first aid equipment. All you need to bring along is a pair of wet suit boots or trainers that you dont mind getting wet..... Oh and some nerves of steel........
