			<title>KA Kitesurfing lessons in Northumberland</title>
			<link>http://www.kitesurfinglessons.co.uk/news/KA-Kitesurfing-lessons-in-Northumberland</link>
			<description>
KA Kitesurfing have started kitesurfing lessons already this year in Northumberland.
All our lessons are based around Beadnell, Bamburgh and Budle bay, probably one of the best areas to learn to kitesurf in the world.
The conditions are often superb at this time of year with good steady winds and the temperatures are getting warmer.
We are still using the Nobile brand for 2012. We have the N62, Koinobori and the brand new Fifty fifty high performance kites.
All of the boards are also new for 2012. We have the NBL again as a school board, the flying carpet for those light wind days and first board starts and the Fifty 50 for the more advanced students.
Why not give us a call if there is anything you want to demo we can get any kite or board in the Nobile range for you to try.
See you all soon on the water.

			<title>KA Kitesurfing try the new Nobile T5 Koinobori</title>
			<link>http://www.kitesurfinglessons.co.uk/news/KA-Kitesurfing-try-the-new-Nobile-T5-Koinobori</link>
			<description>We have a new 10m T5 Koinobori in the school now that is available for demos. I tried it for the first time over the weekend and was more impressed than I thought possible. This has got to be the best kite I have flown for along time. The kite was stable fast with amazing hang time, I just couldnt wait to get back on it!!!!
Give me a shout if you want to give it a go.

			<title>Kitesurfing safety on Northumberland beaches</title>
			<link>http://www.kitesurfinglessons.co.uk/news/Kitesurfing-safety-on-Northumberland-beaches</link>
			<description>

As you would expect we at KA Kitesurfing spend more time on the beaches in Northumberland than anyone else! Just recently we have been a little disappointed with the level safety standards used by some of the kitesurfers out there! It is not just the beginners but some of the best kitesurfers around.
Just a few comments.
Always launch your kite min 2 line lengths from any hazards or people on the beach. I have seen one of my ex-students launch his kite in the middle of the wind window and let it accelerate into the back of another kitesurfers head. I also saw a guy self launching his kite completely incorrectly 10 mtrs up wind of a 12 year old child I was teaching. Simple mistakes like this just should not happen.
I have seen kitesurfers far to close to children playing in the water. Just remember that anyone can make a mistake or have gear failure.
Just about the worst conditions are when the wind is marginal and the kites wont sit on the edge of the wind window. I have seen kites this year crashing all over crowded beaches very close if not on top of other beach users. If we launch the kites we should get straight into the water to kitesurf and bring the kite straight down when we get ashore. If there is not enough wind to do this and the beach is crowded please keep the kites on the ground.
I could go on but we all need to take care. From what I can see it is just a matter of time until someone gets really hurt. The last thing we want is a bad reputation as this will only lead to restrictions from the local councils.
Please let’s do our best to protect the sport we all love.
End of moan.
Kev

			<title>A fantastic start to kitesurfing lessons at Beadnel this week</title>
			<link>http://www.kitesurfinglessons.co.uk/news/A-fantastic-start-to-kitesurfing-lessons-at-Beadnell-this-week</link>
			<description>We have had a fantastic start to the 2010 kitesurfing lessons season with perfect teaching conditions at Beadnell bay. Superb winds flat water and sunny days have given the first KA Kitesurfing students of 2010 there best possible start.

Now that spring has arrived we ar now teaching 7 days a week again, Budle bay is opening to kitesurfing on the first of April so please get your Easter bookings in early to avoid disappointment.
We have recently purchased a RIB which has now been tested and is in perfect working order. All our staff have level 2 power boat qualifications. We will also be offering wake boarding sessions to any one interested. This will give alot of help to those kitesurfing students who are trying there first board starts.  </description>
